Taxation

Taxation is something you need to consider right from the start of your business as it is no good saying that you do not need to worry about tax as I do not have to pay it until next year.
What happens if you do not prepare and the tax payment time comes around and you have not set aside any money.

It would be a good idea to contact an Accountant to give you some financial advice before you start operating your business and although you may consider this an added expense in the early stages, it will certainly be of benefit to you at a later date, as you will have put in place a system that will tell where you business is going and a plan to allow for your tax payments.

Prepare information before you visit an accountant and tell them what you want done and then ask them what there costs are so that the amount you have set aside for the accountant is not exceeded.
If you think it necessary advise the accountant in writing of what you can afford because it will be no good complaining about the costs occurred after the work has been done, if this not been discussed and agreed before hand.

It would be preferable for you to find an accountant in the area where you operate your business because as the business builds up you may need to make regular visits and you do not want to have to drive across town each time.
